I mean, Serge/Lynx is a pretty good rivalry too. But Serge/FATE is an all-time top tier rivalry.

After watching some Chrono Cross videos, it's brought back memories and I've decided that Serge/Lynx is in fact an excellent rivalry.

I love Crono, but his rivalry with Lavos is literally non-existing. Yes he is the antagonist of the game, but that does not make him Crono's rival.

Link/Ganondorf is a pretty weak rivalry I think. It's a much better one than Crono/Lavos, but again, David and Goliath type matchups don't really make for good rivalries, and it's a different Link almost every time the two fight. It doesn't really pass the eye test for what makes a good rivalry for me, like it's not really "personal" between the two of them, it's just how it goes. It's a rivalry, but it's kind of a lame one.

Oh yeah it's not a good one by too many means.

But it's definitely one!
