Detroit is a pretty damn good team when you consider the fact that they're keeping in games despite their offense being largely atrocious this post-season. If the Tigers were hitting the same way they were in September, they'd probably be looking at being up 2-0 right now.

I remember the first time I really acquainted myself with the sacrifice bunt was in some MLB game for the Gamecube, where the game was so broken that you could literally always score runs via bunt. I would get someone on first base, steal second, and then bunt them home. It worked every single time, so that if I was ever in a close game it was my default victory approach.

So for a while after playing that game I was confused why every team didn't bunt when a player got on base. >.>

The good news is that the series isn't over yet. If the Tigers bats ever wake up, Texas is in serous trouble. Plenty of times we could have put runs up on them, we just need to get the job done.

Should that happen, we're right back in this series. Having Fister on the mound tomorrow gives us a more than likely quality start. It's all about the bats. They wake up, we have a shot. They continue to sleep walk, we're going home. Simple as that.
