I honestly just don't think most voters care about Chrono Trigger anymore. I know Board 8 does, so I'm not surprised to see the high nomination, but I don't really think they'll do all that well in the grand scheme of things.

I have all the MGS ones going all the way, as I do in every bracket, gotta roll the dice!

That said, I would've been more strongly behind Snake/Ocelot, but Solid/Liquid is a strong one.

Raiden/Vamp is a darkhorse for getting out of the first round. I'm not personally picking it, but I can't say I didn't spend a couple minutes contemplating it.

And I just think that Raiden / Vamp will simply represent MGS4 and beat out Frog / Magus, just because I don't think the general population cares about Chrono Trigger, these days.

But obviously, I'm not nearly as confident on that one.

Let me rephrase--

I think people who like Metal Gear Solid 4 will vote for them. But I honestly don't know why. All signs point to Frog / Magus taking that division. I just think that Raiden / Vamp will surprise.

I'll only be following this contest so long as the MGS matches are winning, I have them all moving past round one at least, with Big Boss/The Boss in the finals. I think Raiden/Vamp can win because MGS is way better than silly Chrono Trigger, and most people realize that, and Raiden is awesome.

I have Raiden/Vamp loosing first round to Frog/Magus.
With both Big Boss/The Boss and Solid/Liquid making it to the division final with the former losing to Samus/Ridley and the later losing to Cloud/Sephiroth.
