it's because Steam always has really good deals! you can't spend a lot of money there when everything's on sale all the time

I voted Xbox Live, only thing I bought on Steam in the past year was Portal 2 (when the price dropped / sale). Other than that, haven't bought many games on there, and some games I've gotten were very inexpensive.

Xbox live gold itself is expensive, plus various DLCs, arcade games, etc. Not sure if the gold fee would count for the poll, probably not, but still Xbox wins it there for me.

edwardsdv and swordz9 are basically the comedy heel tag team of this topic, why would people be taking them seriously?

I voted Steam merely because, while the majority has been rather inexpensive, the vast amount of stuff I have bought on it far out values the stuff I have bought either XBLA or PSN.

I don't always buy digitally, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.

Edit: I mean Steam.

Yeah this poll really surprised me. Of course PC gaming is way less popular than console gaming, but I thought most all console purchases were retail, not downloads. Maybe there is just that much DLC and such that makes you spend so much on PSN/XBL, or maybe downloadable games are actually getting bigger in the mainstream console market and not just PC?

Apparently I am below average...?

I haven't spent that much, but it's nice to know the value of what I've gotten from Steam. Thank god for Humble Indie Bundles and Steam sales.

Steam pretty much by default for me. I don't have an iPhone, 360, or PS3, and my Wii isn't at university.

Up until recently, I was heavily anti-Steam. The only thing that's convinced me to use it is the mega-sales they sometimes have. The highest price I have pair for anything on Steam is 50% off.

OTOH, when I was actively playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band, I downloaded *a lot* of songs. It's going to take a while for Steam to outstrip that, without any other purchases considered.

And I prefer having physical copies of games, so even though I am mostly a PC gamer, it's not often I opt to download a game unless that's the only recourse.

I voted Steam, but I thik ow it Might be 360

I bought a LOT of stuff on steam deals, and havent bought much on 360. I feel like it might be close, but I've purchased more stuff form steam so I went with that.
