I've never been, but I'll say it's probably good. They talk about it on ifanboy (podcast), etc, sounds like fun. Also I hear there's guests this year such as Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, etc.

yeah, it's growing quite nicely.
the justification for the higher price by the way is because they've realized that co-running it with the anime con that never got any traction got more people, more things to do, and a bigger appeal. it's technically 2 cons at once, but really more like 1 and a half. either way, the price gets jacked tonight so if you're gonna go buy, might as well tonight. you should have fun at the very least. if you're an anime fan, doubly so.
