I thought it was a little too self-aware but that seemed like the whole point of it. Definitely was worth watching. I saw one of the major twists coming, though. Still, I'd give it an 8/10.

Also a dude gets shot in the dick. That made me lol.

Gross.

This was probably my most hyped movie ever and I loved it. The opening scene was great. But yeah, it was far more self-aware than I was expecting, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary for Wes Craven, especially if you've seen New Nightmare. Scream 4 is probably the second best in the series after the original.
