The whole war will be ignited during the world event which leading the game into Mist of Pandaria. Theramore will be destroyed and the leaders of Alliance were outrageous at this matter and completely devote themselves into the war, which reach its peak on the continent of Pandaria. The Horde and the Alliance literally fought on the homeland of Pandaria, which pissed the pandarens off.
probably kill myself if this happens
i love theramore
it's my baby

Faaaaiiiil
I can understand like 7- 10 80s but 40?
<facepalm>
Tbh, it's usually easier with the 7-10 since it's easier to get control of the group and get them to stop DPSing and let the tanks get aggro. Granted, I'm still not sure how they'd wipe, but meh.
I know it can happen as their "be near each other" overheal is what messes people up but with 40 people you need to have them seperated for less time as you should zerg them down quickly but meh.

With 40 men you probably would burn through their healing I would think. At least 40 85s, for sure.
Also, cue another victory for the Horde. Just a day or so after Metzen says, "I'm not biased" and wears an Alliance hoodie. Rouse. Stormwind will end up being the only city Blizzard lets us keep and all our quests will originate from there, starting zones for every race and all.

Oh come on, Theramore may be gone and Darnassus and Exodar may be useless, but we still have Ironforge.

I am against this topic and everything it believes in. Pandaria is going to be awesome.

It's really funny seeing reactions like this to the topics brought up during the Q&A. OMG THEY MENTIONED ILLIDANS DEATH BEING RETCONNED RIDICULOUS
All that happened was somebody asked what happened to the bodies of Illidan, Kael'thas, and Arthas. Metzen was just like, well, what, do you guys want Illidan to come back or something? And the entire crowd started cheering. So he just laughed and said maybe they'd do something with him. (Hint they already are with the War of the Ancients caverns of time instance), then they just said Kael is definitely wrapped up since they already brought him back and they actually haven't decided lorewise what they did with Arthas's corpse (which could potentially be a big deal considering the power he wielded)

You missed them talking about how Illidan may not actually be dead and be able to reach redemption (something Arthas and Kael were unable to do). He is almost definitely not dead at this point, I would wager.

Uhhh no, this was never said.

It wasn't said at Blizzcon 11, no. But last year they said this:
Will we ever see a redemption or resurrection of Illidan as a Character? BOY DO I WANT TO DO THAT. Thatd be badass. I dont think anyone at all has ever talked about that. But I love that ****. Im a sucker for a good redemption story. Except Arthas. Not Arthas. Hes dead.
Then this year.
"It is likely we will bring Illidan back, not so much for Kael'thas, he already had his come back. Arthas's body is somewhere but we don't really know where."
Everyone already knows he's in Caverns of Time. That's not "bringing him back" by definition at all.
You just said that they outright stated he's still alive.... and that isn't indicated anywhere by what they've said. If anything he'll be resurrected at some point. They like him and will probably bring him back... but not by just being like "hey guys here he is he just snuck off or something"

Hardest boss ever was actually 4 Horsemen because they were literally impossible to kill with the gear available at the time. In a perfect run you didn't have enough damage to kill them.
in terms of actual fights, yeah probably c'thun release or twin emps

wasn't that the same scenario with C'thun.

"It is likely we will bring Illidan back" is about as outright of a statement on him being alive as I can imagine without them actually stating that word for word. I couple that with the thoughts of redeeming his character and come to the conclusion that perhaps after MoP we will see Illidan training Alliance and Horde demon hunters to fight the Legion.

C'thun iirc was actually beatable, people were just undergeared or not doing the fight correctly. Yeah, as soon as they nerfed him he was down in 30 minutes, but I'm pretty sure that only Horsemen were literally impossible to kill with the gear that was available.
Even members of those elite guilds say Heroic Firelands was very challenging and praised Blizzard for it. Unless you are now some member of the elite guilds that have actually beaten him, I think I'm going to take their word for it.
Anyway, why would it impact you? Have you even beaten Ragnaros on normal? Why whine? Fair enough
Honestly havent even played the game since several months before Firelands came out. No money to subscribe and no reason to since everyone I knew in the server left(which is another problem entirely blizzard needs to recitfy)
Just going from what ive heard, and the news that Rags was beaten that fast after the patch I just went "welp"

Goddamnit Metzen get Activision off your balls already.
I thought the hardest boss ever in WoW was C'thun when he was first released
not so much hard as "satistically unbeatable" or something. Basically there was no way to kill him.
Longest boss to kill is still Old 4 horsemen, and thats because of the absurd gearing required for it.
What's Theramore?
Place where you can raid to kill Jaina. Can't solo her cause she's a wuss and tele's you out and resets.

Nice catch BlAcK TuRtLe. But too bad your ass got SAAAAAAAAAAACKED.*tackles*
You really can't say Rag was easy, it took over 500 wipes before Paragon got their first kill.
You can say "oh, it only took a month?", but the top guilds literally spend that entire month wiping on the boss till they get it. If they CAN'T get it then the problem is just the boss being broken to the point that it can't be killed at all.

Oh, I always wondered where she was these days. I guess an Alliance player would probably not really know where Sen'jin is. How many people does it take to kill Jaina?
From: Shoenin_Kakashi | #184 Nowadays I dunno. Tyrande and Lore...uhh, whatever the hell the BElfs leader is named is soloable since they fail.
I know in wrath every leader except Thrall, Magni and Jaina were Soloable.
Jaina because of what I said, and Thrall and Magni(R.I.uhh....S) because they'd destroy you.
TBQH it's probably easier now since in Wrath you had to fight your way through the cities and now it's just swoop in on your flying mount and don't attract a lot of attention from other 85 PCs. Though, I've never tried and always assumed at least a 25 man raid group was necessary so I never bothered trying.
Pirateking2000 posted... Though to be fair Vanilla's was inflated since it was a pain in the ass to get 40 people back together fast. Especially in places like Naxx and AQ40
True though 40 man raids felt more epic lol.
Ahh, WoW days. When we managed to 26 man Chromagus and felt like Gods.
