Well, I guess I'll repeat my opinion. It's pretty silly, there's absolutely zero chance that someone on a console can play D3 at the same level as someone on PC, unless they sell keyboard and mice controllers, at which point you should just get it on PC. >_>
The reason this is an issue is because PvP seems like it's going to be a major factor, and if they're going to have cross platform play, it's just going to be PC players godstomping consoles players over and over again.

it'd be more cost effective for a lot of people if they just sold mouse and keyboard for console. consoles and PC are converging lately, we already have most games on PC supporting pad, it'd be cool if consoles supported keyboard and mouse.

There's nothing stopping you from plugging in a USB mouse/KB into your PS3/360. It's just the games that need to support it. Usually they are unsupported because it would be unbalanced for gameplay, but for a game like D3 I can see Blizzard putting in support for that.

from what I've seen they've already got stuff out there that lets you use keyboard/mouse in place of a controller, it's just pretty expensive. aimed at shooting game people I think.

It's not really headed to consoles. They've literally done nothing towards making that happen. It's just something they want to do and if they can make it as good as the PC version will be then they will. If they can't, then they won't. 100% guaranteed it won't ship on consoles anywhere close to the PC release date.

They're bringin the Witcher 2 to consoles, which makes sense IMO, since it felt like a game that would play really well on consoles.
