Dimensional Engineer/Quality Engineer

I really don't know much about it, but it was explained to me as using computerz and laserz to measure car parts and airplane parts to make sure they're the right size

I guess my mom got in touch with some of her friends from high school and got me this interview. So despite not knowing anything about it, I'm gonna give it a shot because it pays double what I'm currently making (not much) and has full health care coverage (of which I only have vision and dental at the moment)

yeah I hope so. My mom keeps talking like it's a sure thing, but I'm not so certain

I think it's because the Big 3 are finally making a comeback, places like this are busy again and are in need of more manpower. I guess the guy who's currently the Vice-President of this company is the one that's going to be interviewing me and was a friend of both of my parents in high school.

the job is pretty much mine if I want it. I have until Monday to decide. Basically 6 months of training with their computer program they designed, then it would just be working with that 8 hours a day. The thing that concerns me though is that eventually they would want me to travel to clients who would potentially invest in this program and sell it to them and i'm definitely no salesman (at least when Nintendo isn't involved).

Anyway I'm thinking about accepting it and it would only be temporary anyway until I could secure a Medical Technician internship at a hospital so I could put my degree to use. This is more like a pitstop on the way just so I can make some more money to help pay off my college loans.

I would definitely take the job. I mean, it's way better than what you have now, and the faster you can pay loans off the better. Plus it will look pretty good on a resume I would think, and even though it's not what you went to school for it could evolve into something much better that you never even saw coming.
Worst case scenario you learn a few new skills, which is always a good thing.

Anyway congrats! Wish I could find a job :)
