So far the Sens have really played well this year. Goaltending has been sketchy at best, but apparently Anderson is having personal family issues (hence why the media has been very gentle with him.) With that in mind when you consider that Ottawa has been outplaying the majority of their opponents -- if they clean up their game in their own end (not even bad defensive play, but the bad turnovers) and the goaltending levels out back to 'average' (which is what Anderson should be capable of doing) I don't see why they can't win more games than they lose this year and have a decent shot at the 8th spot in the East.

Win over Toronto was satisfying on my birthday. :)

Ottawa playing some good hockey again last night. Nice to see Butler pot some. Spezza looked phenomenal but came away with nothing to show for it. Unfortunately because he was turning Calgary inside out.

So I'm pretty upset with the Avs game last night. Played well in the first two periods then complete got schooled in the final. But, I will say that there were some definite highlight goals coming out of both ends. Duchene's goal was ****ing sick!

totally agree, mason had his chance this season to prove it, and he's completely blown it. columbus can't waste any more time, they need a new goalie immediately.

also i agree with soul, duchene's goal was ****ing wonderful yesterday.

so glad we came back and won, but duchene played his mind out. he should've been one of the three stars imo, even in a loss.

They had something of a slow start but they actually have a really strong team. I'm surprised they're not higher. Just recently hired Hitchcock and I believe there' 3 - 0 - 1 since hiring him (even though I don't think he's that great of a coach.) I think they should be in the playoffs by the end of the year.

Backes, Oshie and Shattenkirk have been your best players. :)
