so yea, my thoughts on Phoenix and Frank

first, Frank

oh man, I'm usually up for change, but I can't deal with this one. I wish he had his beam super, I wish he didn't have that level system thingy, I wish he didn't throw up after drinking ONE drink!

I mean, some people will be able to make him work, but I won't be able to, unless I really get down and develop and get used to his Lvl 3 moveset. I don't have super long combos, I'm more about precision and short and sweet, but effective!, strikes. We'll see how this turns out, this is only after an hour of playing him myself. I just wish he was more like his TvC self =(

Phoenix is actually not as hard as people thought he was gonna be, he picks up evidence pretty quickly, he throws it quickly, and you'll have the decisive evidence in no time. You can object during a combo, in which you can do the big ass fingers right afterwards, smack them with it one or two or even three or four times, then do Justice Squeeze and they're dead.
but the problem is he has no damn range, his normals are too weird. so getting them in that one combo leading to the Lvl 3 might prove tricky

Strider's great so far. Though I can't figure out a way to make his projectile super connect unless the opponent uses a really long assist or vulnerable super.

Also played some Nova, Dante, and Wesker. I liek Nova the most out of them, easy combos and his across the screen rush can be combo'd into.

Tried Phoenix but I need to practice with him more to be able to use him under pressure >_<

oh my god tron/felicia/x-23 double OTG assists makes for insane single-bar combos that are incredibly easy to pull off

Tron changes were way overstated. At least, the j. H. I can still get a s. L in about 80% of the time, will probably nail it with practice.

I blazed through missions 1-7 with each of them just for basics.

Except RR and Vergil. I can't even get the timing right for RR4 and Vergil 7 is crazy.
