I just got an email from my college department that I'm ready to graduate. If I pass my classes this semester (which is looking likely since i have something like an A or B in my classes), then I will have met my requirements for a bachelors. Therefore, I'm technically graduating this semester and I don't have a choice in the matter.
I was hoping to stick around another semester, but they're like "nope. we want you outta here. University policy".
Damnit. this means I won't be eligible to apply for an internship this summer.
And I'm not ready to be an adult.

Might you be in any English classes? If you are, just continue to put the punctuation outside of the quotes like this. They should fail you and you can stay another semester.
Bah, punctuation outside of the quotation marks just makes sense. We're not using freaking moveable type anymore. And it is considered acceptable in British English, if I recall correctly.
Can you appeal to the Dean or something? I mean, you're still paying for the next semester, right?

WazzupGenius00 posted... You could just drop one of your classes all of a sudden right now. It's late enough you'd get a withdraw fail
I'd go under academic review if that happened. If you complete less than 75% of your units you enrolled in, you get investigated. I am taking 9 units. If I fail withdrew, I'd get finish with 6 units. 66.66%.
That would mean that my loans would be locked and I'd be unable to pay for school next semester, which in turn means I wouldn't be able to go to school. And I"d be in the same position I'm in now, only without a degree.
And yeah, I don't think the dean will do anything

I don't know what else you can do except spend time kvetching and explaining your position. It does look bad for the school for you to graduate and have no job afterward. This is also pretty damn late for them to be announcing "GET OUT". Again, see if you can find someone to appeal to. Hell, see if they have a program that lets you start working on a Master's, take the semester, get some credits for if you ever decide to do a Master's, and then walk with the rest of the graduates in May.
