Yes I do, but it would never live up to Chrono Trigger

Not changing this sig until the Bengals, Bills, Browns and Lions win the Super Bowl (10/10/10) The most American Canadian on Board 8 - #9 Bro on Board 8
EDIT - And no need to spend a billion dollars on it. Just keep it at the SNES graphics level and release it as a downloadable title for the Wii/PS3/360 all at once, MM9 style.

Not a direct sequel, no. You can't really do a direct sequel when time travel is involved, so you basically need an entirely new cast of characters and a completely different plot.
Chrono Cross tried getting too cute with it and failed badly.

Something telling a story directly after where we left? No, for one thing we already know most of the outcomes. Something else instead would be best, let's see what life in a non-Lavos 2000 or 2300 AD is like for example.
A prequel may work too, Gaspar does suggest at one point that other people have traveled through time before Crono and co.

so... radical dreamers basically? i mean there's a couple of things that can be fleshed out on just fine. few have to do with crono but little actually had him do anything. there's the question of what happened to robo and the magus/schala relationship/search basically to resolve. most of the rest is fine, but those two are the standouts, and you can pretty easily work a game around it + new content.
but you ain't gonna get the same development studio again. that was a dream team.

The King Wang. Listen up Urinal Cake. I already have something that tells me if I'm too drunk when I pee on it: My friends. - Colbert.
Chrono Cross established that there exists 2 worlds. The home world and the another world. Chrono trigger's world was the another world in chrono cross.
So Crono, Marle, Lucca were the main characters of Chrono trigger in the another world, but what of the Crono, Marle, and Lucca of the home world? What ever happened to them? I think a game explaining that would be cool.
Also, there is no point in making another continuation of chrono series without the dream team.

You can't do a sequel if time travel is involved? That doesn't make any sense

"You know, just once I'd like to meet an alien menace that wasn't immune to bullets." - The Brigadier
The world only split into two different versions at the moment of Serge's death, which was after Chrono Trigger. And at the end of Chrono Cross they merge back into one. Crono, Marle, and Lucca's adventures in CT/1000 AD would be the same regardless.
