I completely forgot about the merger between Mechanical and Aerospace.

I looked at it, and it seems I am only one class away from the requirements and it's statics.

This is awesome for me, because I prefer Aero way over MechE, and would much rather work in an aviation related field with Aero.

Going to be a lot of work, but I'm willing to do it.

My passion was always the military, and I want to commission as an officer in the USAF, and hopefully become a pilot or a combat systems officer.

But I realize that the doctors might not approve my medical, but I still want to do something interesting with my life relating to aviation.

Yeah, the aerospace program I'm in is only 9 credits separated from mechanical engineering, so I'm dual majoring.

Kind of weird that your MechE degree didn't require Statics, though.

I'm guessing that Aero has a different Statics, because there is absolutely no reason an ME shouldn't have to take that.

Sorry I made that unclear, MechE does require statics.

But you have to take a certain criteria of classes before switching to Aero and then specializing.

Statics is the only one I'm missing before I can switch.
