So grateful for the Texans winning. Bengals were the team I was most worried about in terms of denying the Jets via tiebreaker. Sure, they had the Ravens in Week 17, but I couldn't be sure the Ravens would be playing their starters in that game. Probably would be as long as the Steelers could keep the pressure on them, but still.

Mark Sanchez

Winningest road playoff QB in history

28-17 regular season
4-2 playoffs

Literally took Peyton 9 seasons to win 4 playoff games. He had already lost 6 at that point.

There was no excuse for letting him run for that 1st down on 3rd and long.

Ugh...

Now the only way the Bengals make the playoffs is if the Jets lose to the Giants, and the Bengals beat the Ravens in the final week. Or if the Saints blow it, the Texans have to beat the Titans...

The Jets' win puts them in the #6 spot in the AFC Playoff picture. The only way they lose it today is if Oakland upsets the Packers.

NFC's six only changes if Chicago loses to Denver, in which Atlanta would be #5 and Detroit #6.

Oakland can win and the Jets still have the #6 seed if the Broncos lose.

All the Jets need at this point, assuming they win out, is for one of the Raiders/Broncos to lose a game. Though, yeah, the Raiders losing is the more likely scenario this week.

According to the espn playoff machine:

1. Ravens
2. Pats
3. Texans

I guess I'll trust this. ...I think it'd go to Strength of Victory and I refuse to calculate that. >_>

...It does make sense though, Ravens would have wins over the Steelers and Bengals twice, and that would presumably give them an advantage over the other two.

Once again, Peyton took 9 seasons to win a ring. Not sure how you can fault Sanchize for coming close in his only 2 seasons.

The rest is just clearly an example of you knowing nothing about football. Why do you think the Jets had the best rushing attack? Do you really think it was because we had rookie Shonn Greene and old LT? Nope. Opposing defenses have so much respect for The Sanchize's arm that they leave all their guys back in coverage and at that point you and I could rush for 200 yards a game.

What are you smoking? Honestly, respect for his arm?

Look, i liked Sanchez back at USC (live in Cali. Bears and Trojans all the WAY!!!) but i don't let that get in the way of stating the obvious.

When playing the Jets you don't fear the pass. You fear the run and their defense.

The only people who fear Sanchez are his fellow Teammates, and that is because he throws pics.

Mark Sanchez Career stats 48 tds 44ints

The Jets win despite him. Rex Ryan is a heck of a coach.

Should just start calling Unsportsmanlike Conduct against the Packers if the defense only has 11 men on the field, if 12 isn't enough, 11 is just unfair tbqh.

That also doesn't count his two pass TDs and no INTs today.

Plus you like to discredit Peyton's rookie season so how about we take Sanchez' off the books.

And for the record I'm actually practicing Celibacy, (a real born again Christian not the fake ones you see on TV) so the whole sex thing doesn't appeal to me.

Now the paychecks these athletes take home are enticing indeed, but I grew up in a nice middle class family so I pretty much get anything I want.

It's not hate. I actually like the kid. Followed him in college and thought it was good that he left early because everyone in CALI knew that it was just a matter of time before USC's illegal activities were gonna get them in trouble. I mean the players are treated like kings out in the OPEN so you knew it was going to happen, but he doesn't play well.

Playing out exactly as expected so far.

The Bears D is really good but their offense is horrendous.

I wish they had bets specific enough that I could go put all of my money on "Tim Tebow leads a 24 yard game-winning TD drive ending with a 62 yard field goal to give Denver the 3-0 win". The game being in Denver makes this a lock.
