oh, another good app to get is kindle. gives you some more flexibility when buying ebooks. i like ibooks better for reading on an ipad, though.

downloaded goodreads, mgs touch, xbox live, colloquy, good player, and epicurious.

is aquaria good? can't remember what the consensus was on that. chrono trigger not on iPad sux. I was ready to drop $10 on that, SE!

to the rescue

Chaos Rings is good stuff. There is a fair degree of repetitiveness to it; there are four different "groups" that you play, and while they each have their own storyline and dialogue, the locales and bosses are the same, and their paths converge and stuff.

But the locales themselves are pretty gorgeous, it's pretty good as far as story goes, characters are awesome, and the gameplay is still fun. Music is fairly solid. It's not the best game out there, but it's easily one of the best and most polished iOS games I've played. Well worth $6.99
