I agree some parts of SS are a bit tedious but I've seen people argue that "every Zelda game has stupid filler"
...like what? Besides the Triforce Charts and the fish eggs in MM I can't think of any immediately. Maybe the books in Minish. But LTTP? LA? OOT? Oracles? No filler in any of those games. There's stuff like the Temple of the Ocean King which is just unbearable but it's not really filler.

I think I am the only person ever who enjoyed both the Triforce hunt in WW AND the Temple of the Ocean King in PH. In fact, the latter is a highlight of the game.
I like Temple of the Ocean King too. I had fun trying to get a perfect time.
Only problem is that there's enough other awful s*** in that game that my overall opinion of it matches that of most people who hate the Temple of the Ocean King

Yeah. I hate Phantom Hourglass more than most people (it's like a 6/10 game at best, which is way below par for zelda), but I like the Temple of the Ocean King far more than most people. Going for a fast time takes a lot of strategy and skill and it's a lot of fun, and going through the temple multiple times doesn't really feel like a retread because it's different every time you do it. It's really the only good part of PH, in my opinion.
