i know you're not supposed to swallow the smoke in your mouth

im quite the neophyte when it comes to smoking them

is it inhaling it if you feel it hit the back of your throat?

You're supposed to chew it a few times and swallow half of it.

Then exhale half of what's left through your nose and the other half through your mouth.

The way I did it back when I didn't care about dying a slow, painful death due to cancer was to suck the smoke into my mouth, then inhale, then exhale the lot. Or you could just suck it into your mouth and skip the inhale, just puff away.

A word of warning, though: a lot of companies are starting to screen for nicotine. If you have any desire to work in healthcare especially, I'd recommend stopping now.

Can you really tell if the smoke hits the back of your throat? Maybe I just don't pay attention whenever I smoke a cigarette, but I never thought I could feel smoke.

And no, I assume if it goes into your lungs, that's considered inhaling.
