So chapter one was cool, nice intro to the game. Platforming and combat are simple, but effective and enjoyable. Air ship crashing into the Statue of Liberty and then showing what I assume is an abandoned New York City, consumed by plants. Seems like Poison Ivy's dream (the comic book character of course).

So now I'm on chapter 2 and the one girl put a headband on the main character (I haven't learned names yet obviously) to keep him in check. Cool, I like that he's a dick who just wants to kill her but has to obey her for his life, and now they can both grow to like each other and whatnot.

NOW the headband is apparently making main character person drunk, which is funny, because I am also drunk, so it's a nice combination.

This game doesn't have ****ty costume DLC and the like because it was a HUGE SALES FLOP

Let's hope their new game does better!

UPDATE TIME

Last night I don't remember exactly what I did between the draw bridge and getting to wherever I started out today. Pretty sure it wasn't that much. I got to the part where you had to use the girl to send up a decoy to get past the mechs. I tried doing it last night but got confused and died, so I quit for the night because I figured I was too drunk.

Now I got past the mechs and made sure to look everywhere for glowing balls. I don't know what they do, but glowing balls are usually important.

Question, when I was getting past the mechs, main character guy did a slide when I hit the X button instead of a roll. He did it twice, and then I couldn't get him to do it again. Is it a situational thing?

Caught the dragonfly. This is the part I saw on youtube a few days ago, I still don't know why the dragonfly is a robot, but I'm guessing stuff like that and why New York City is in ruins will be revealed to me later. Or at least I hope.

Now I just got through the first batch of mines, and entered an area with a crap load more. Getting interesting.

I'm kind of tempted to just walk into a mine and see what happens but I can kind of guess.

Oh, since my last update I made a lot of progress. I didn't think anyone cared though, so I forgot about this topic.

Uh... Encountered the DOG. Ran away from it. Continued to run away from it. Escaped it. Ran away from it again. Finally fought the mother f***er after more running away. And destroyed it in a totally badass way.

Now we're no longer in New York City. Huh. Didn't see that coming, honestly. I thought the game largely took place in that city alone. Excited to see what happens next.

Decent game, but the mediocre combat kind of ruined it for me.

Yeah I haven't been very impressed with the combat. Especially since fighting the dog, which was just stun him, combo him, stun him right when he gets back up, continue that pattern for however long. Pretty underwhelming, that was.
