Well, because it is impossible to get everything without Wii game plus, there are no permanent missables, because they again, can all be gotten on New Game Plus.

Maybe it's just the DS version, but this game goes very quick. I mean the running/menus/dialog and stuff. I like the pace of it.

Just play the game. Only important thing that you can miss is something obvious that you pretty much have to purposely choose to "miss," and it's pretty late in the game anyway.

if you don't do the minigames to get cat food for too long you extra cats start to leave, and you can get up to 11 cats iirc. Also, when you can open the black chests in 600/1000 AD you should examine each chest in 600, choose not to open it, and then open the chest in 1000 AD for an upgraded version of the item. You can then go back and open it in 600 for the worse version as well.

Activate them in the past, but don't take them. Than go take them in the future and get the upgraded stuff, then go take them in the past.

OK, ok, I'll remember to do that. I remember there was a sidequest to save Lucca's mother, and also that it had a time on it and had to be done quickly or something? Is that right?

Yeah but whether you get it right makes almost no difference at all, you don't get an item for doing it right or anything.
