When DMC2 came out, I wasn't yet into the series. By the time I played it, I already heard about what trash it was.

With Sonic and the Secret Rings, I wasn't getting my hopes up either. The controls flat-out sucked and I knew right there the rest of the game was going to blow.

Even Dissidia had me going. I jumped in expecting a fighting game, not a grindfest. But I should expect that from a dying company when other companies do fighting games better in the first place.

But ZELDA? The one series that hasn't let me down for 15 years? And all they do is throw in a bunch of crappy fetch quests, one right after the other, and have the balls to tell you to go back to the very dungeon you were in before? I've heard of making a long game, but if that's the reason you do it, it'd be better to just have a ~20 hour quest. Quality > quantity.

And Minish Cap was better.

much better game than WW and TP, does have flaws but it's still a return to form for a series that's been on a serious detour in mediocreville for the past decade.

I haven't even played it because Twilight Princess already ruined Zelda for me. OoT and MM forever.

Don't forget every other game in the series prior to Twilight Princess. The NES, SNES, and GBC games rock the hell out of everything post-WW.
