I think it was an episode that didn't have enough material for a full 22 minutes. The setup stage dragged too long, the song took up a huge chunk, and then all that was left was the cider contest. There were some good jokes, though... it seems more and more like the writers know all about the pony memes and are kinda incorporating them. Like Bon Bon has YET ANOTHER different voice, one part of the cider squeezing part looked a lot like the Rhythm Heaven parodies, etc. -- _foolmo_ 'Most people at least try to say something funny. The grey area characters shouldn't have to disappear after one episode like they're evil or something. Also, Rainbow basically pulled a Great and Powerful Trixie (attitude-wise I mean, as she wasn't actually dishonest about anything), becoming a braggart and letting her abilities go straight to her head, and yet she was forgiven almost instantly.
