The problem is they don't make enough good games.
Compounding this is the fact they have no third party support. They have no third party support because the console itself is garbage(underpowered, laughable online capability).
They can make good games; their problems are slightly more complex than that.

this. nintendo has been terrible ever since the DS taught them that control gimmicks create more success than being dedicated to creating quality games. hopefully they sell off monolith and retro before they go under because those two studios are still good at least, I'd rather not see them get dragged under with the nintentanic
