Obviously because of when it was written it doesn't have the Poongko beating Daigo match (which seems like it'd be an obvious candidate) but how do you feel about the rest? Agree with the choices? Notable omissions?
This topic is an opportunity to post high level play of various games as well.
Daigo vs. Poongko is only notable because it was a spectacular upset. it wasn't what you'd show someone if you wanted to show what competitive SF4 is about.
the Tron Bonne moment from the MVC3 final fits the bill much better here.

You taking about Combo X Justin? Or what's the Tron Bonne moment?
I think the most impressive thing about the Daigo moment is that you have to start parrying that before the super activates. It's almost impossible to get the first parry on reaction. That's the crazy part for me. That and having the execution to just kill him after that. It wouldn't be as big a deal if he parried the whole super then got back fierced and lost.
I was glad to see a Grubby and Moon match on there. I'm not sure I'd choose that one, maybe one of their last ones right before they both left for SC2 would've been nice. Those were better matches but didn't have as good a storyline behind them.
Long story short, MKP expressed interest in attending an MLG event, but couldn't get a sponsor to get him over there (SC2 is much smaller in Korea), and not being super top tier (don't take that the wrong way, he is VERY strong, but he wasn't considered top terran), he never got any invitations. So, a bunch of people on reddit got together and raised enough cash to send him to MLG Orlando. Though he only got 5th he gave a lot of entertaining games and the only series he lost were to the two eventual finalists (and he beat Idra pretty solidly in pool play so it's probably more accurate he was the 4th best player there).
In hindsight, MC vs. Puma doesn't belong on there. Yeah, at the time, it was a "big upset". But in hindsight, Puma's a very good SC1 player which in of itself pretty much already puts you in winning potential territory.
