Read. Hilde has more close range options than you think, and against Nightmare anything you do at point blank range will beat anything he tries to do. It's like I've been saying: The way to beat Nightmare is to GET IN and PUSH BUTTONS.

Natsu is my favourite character so far. It's just a matter of sticking to her best moves and nailing her BnB combos every time and I should be pretty set once I have Xbox Live set up again! Raph's my second, safer choice since his poking ability makes him less reliant on execution/timing heavy combos. Preparation stance into B,B and then BE too good.

Once you get high enough ranking. You'll lose points for losing matches. So if you're worried about staying lower leagues if you hit a spot that's out of your league just keep trying, eventually you'll either get better or drop a league.

Natsu's air and BE grabs are so satisfying to pull off, and do a ton of damage as well. Everyone always forgets to keep blocking the last input of A,A,B and A,A,K too, or at least my friends do. That, and mixing in the better Possession moves are all you really need. Still feels better winning that way than with lol Siegfried and Astaroth.

Just hold block while being comboed. You'll block as soon as you can. Any blocked fast attack gives you the advantage, so if you think they'll continue pressing buttons, then attack back.

Either block or just lay there, because the damage you take on the ground is a hell of a lot less than the damage you take getting comboed into her air grab because you tried to roll and avoid a little poke or attack on wakeup. Also keeping her zoned out, because she has like no range.
