I'm currently on a five game losing streak, with like two weeks of games in between.

I got to play not-support Kennen in my last game and was doing fine, died to a 4v1 gank as my only death. We had one bad fight where Jarvan ulted the enemy Kennen and Maokai like a f***ing idiot and had a 4 man surrender, despite the fact that we were technically leading in tower kills and Ziggs was in the process of backdooring.

I'm convinced that support Maokai with Heal/Clarity is the biggest pubstomper in the game, by the way.

Haha, earlier today Snoopeh was in solo q and got frustrated and lightheartedly trolled his team toward the end. But he didn't get angry over it and it didn't affect his playstyle the next game because he was just able to laugh it off. I seriously swear that over half of your posts are complaining about solo q, and while you probably have good reason to complain, I think it fosters a better attitude toward the game if you just chill out and realize that stupid people are often stupid.

it's late, didn't say that all exactly right

basically, as jungler, he pinged his gank target. his top lane didn't go in when he did because he said snoopeh didn't ping, and snoopeh gave up first blood because irelia didn't go in with him or anything, then the irelia tried fighting a rumble with red and blue only after snoopeh died. rest of the game spiraled downward and it sucked, but I think that not raging (sup, TSM) is the best way to develop a healthy style of improvement or something

Last night alone was a laundry list of crap I'll never see on an enemy team that I got stuck with.

- A Nocturne who initiates a 1v3 from the other side of the lane and asks me why I didn't help him.
- A Caitlin that fed 5 kills to Miss Fortune with nothing to show for it.
- A team that decided one bad fight was enough of a reason to surrender immediately, even when the enemy didn't even destroy the inhibitor of the lane they were pushing.
- A Nunu who flashed into a 1v3 at dragon for a steal after the dragon had already died.
- A 2/10 Vlad who initiates with sanguine pool.

And it's this type of thing five games in a row, again, with at least a week between the first two.

You're going to give me crap from being frustrated that I'm losing constantly through no fault of my own?

Biolizard complaining again at length. Oh how I don't really miss TF2 all that much now.

Had a fun first game with Maokai (and jungling to boot!). 10/7/26! I messed up very early and wasn't able to get the Blue even with an iffy leash, but I managed to pull a great gank in top lane and helped against a countergank to put us up 3 kills early, also getting first blood against their Caitlyn. We had some problems with lane defense. By fifteen-twenty minutes, at least half of our towers were down while we had only gotten one of theirs. Then when we hit up Baron, their Ziggy stole it at the last second... but it amounted to nothing since they were scattered and we killed two of them (one their Yi, who was also easily their best player) and then made a push mid even though three still had Baron. And we were successful! Killed another one, took down both towers, and then went and took Dragon again.

Eventually I started playing a bit looser, making some stupid mistakes like running into Nunu's absolute zero and trying to help a 2v4 and then getting killed as as I soon as I W'd & D'd, they both Flashed out >_<. We could've had 'em too. Three were half health and both flashers were above half, maybe 75%.

I do have to give credit where credit is due. Our Nasus godstomped top lane, midgame, and late game. Our Akali was excellent at being in the right spots at the right times. Our Veigar was a boss. Only our Teemo was a weak link, but their Teemo was even worse so it balances out. Overall it was a lot of fun. I don't expect any future games with Maokai to go that well so I'm just relishing in the moment.

tl;dr - First game as Jungling Maokai was a lot of fun and I did quite well. I don't expect to do so well the next time.

Yeah, that Maokai game was a fluke. Pretty much fed my most recent game, but we were already down 0-2 before I was even Level 3 and their Veigar... hoo boy, their Veigar. We surrendered around the 25 minute mark and he already had 168 creep kills under his belt (and 212 AP when I last checked around 15th min). He stopped me cold.

Hey initiating with Sanguine Pool is awesome. Build HP Vlad, get two off in the fight since it'll recharge since you initiated with it, and win. It's hilarious.

Actually it's probably a terrible idea but that's how I play Vlad! (And it usually works decently at least-- better than 2/10 in any case!)

The one thing I see with newish or bad players is this:

They think the only way to win your lane is with kills. So they die the first time and continue dying instead of playing safe.

They hate getting denied CS or XP so they get harassed to death and then die and lose CS and XP anyways.

Then spent the next five minutes with a Sejuani not getting any creep kills because we both thought we were supporting each other.

And then we won twenty minutes in with 25-4 in kills, two of those from successful ganks I led =D

I've totally actually started this game. Unlike the previous time where I played once and quit.

I weep for the future where I will be faced against competent characters and can't 18/1/7 with a range AD carry. Jeez, harassing isn't even hard, scrubs.

Though once I have the IP for it, I think I'll switch to someone less paper-like. People try to gank me way too much.

If I'm in solo queue as a ranged carry I ALWAYS take ghost flash. You can't count on team mates to protect you like they should. I'd advise to keep playing carrys. Easiest way to win games is to just put the team on your back with Ashe arrows and Vayne ults

Nope.

They'll come out in the patch preview and basically give the major changes (for example, this patch is going to change Shen a ton), and they'll say the abilities of the new champion fi there is one, but the actual numbers of a lot of changes and the small changes that might occur aren't listed.

Alot of the rumors come from the main forums where a developer will make a post in a topic about, say, Fiddlesticks being overpowered, and they'll say "We are currently looking at Fiddles and considering tweaking him".

So then people kind of assume they're going to nerf fiddles in the next patch a little.

So this team is up on us 36-22, and I, as Ashe, find the time to push top lane and snatch their inhibitor. I killed one champ while taking the inhibitor, then got another as I was retreating, because apparently they didn't realize Ashe can kite. Immediate surrender. They would have destroyed us in a team fight. I don't even.

I'm excited about the free champion switch coming up though. This will be my first rotation, and that means a lot more variety in my champs and the champs I'm fighting. I really want Gangplank and Udyr.

Is there anyone easier to carry with than Irelia?

You either dominate your lane at level 5, dominate it at level 9, or, in the rare, RARE case you can't do that, you just sit top and keep farming.

Then you kill stuff and they can't kill you back*

I just want to say, that if you're going to play Teemo, you're doing it for map control. Use mushrooms wisely. Use them to control dragon, baron, buffs, and space. They dramatically increase your zone, but you have to use them well.

I knew they were coming but DAAAAAAAAAAAMN.

Dude is going to just body the damn jungle. With the health percentage addition to Vorpal Blade you don't have to max it. You can max Feint, never take damage, and proc Ki Strike like a madman.

The Damage reduction on Taunt will be nerfed. Guaranteed. Combined with Ninja Tabi, Shen can reduce 60% of damage from 2-3 enemies at once. That's absurd.
