It was in a spot that I'm pretty damn sure I looked in dozens of times (between the mattress and the side of the bed) and it was just sitting there. It wasn't even stuck in there deep where I would look over it... just right there in the open. I know for a fact that I looked in that spot, but whatever. It's here now.
What makes it even more awesome is that it happens to be my birthday today and I still have an unopened copy of Pokemon Black that I bought on release day, before I knew that my DS was gone.
finding stuff you lost / never knew you had is one of the best feelings
I've been in a tight financial situation for months, and yesterday I got a letter from Walmart saying that I have a check worth over $300 that I never cashed all the way back in 2009

I had only played through Platinum and I was in the cave about to catch Lugia. I didn't mind losing the game too much since all my Pokemon were in Platinum. I was honestly just going to wait for the 3DS re-release (whenever that comes) in order to play my DS games. I'm probably going to play Chrono Trigger too since the Endurance Run got me hyped for that game again.
And thanks for all the birthday wishes, you guys rock.
From: SAWURFACEANDWOW | #020 maybe im just tired but how does something physically be between your mattress and the side of the bed
Great question. It's actually a fold out couch that has never been folded back up for the past few years, so I just consider it a bed. The mattress sits about an inch or two away from the arm of each side, so it was sitting between the side of the bed(couch) and a supporting metal joint centered between that side and the mattress. Somewhere I remember reaching my arm down into, to see if it had fallen on the floor... multiple times on different sides.
I hope that makes sense. I'm pretty ****ed right now.
