I think he'd like it if there wasn't. But Capcom has the final say. Alot of people who worked on UMvC3 apparently didn't want to, let alone release it so damn early. But Capcom said it had to be done, and released at that date or no date.

That's true. But I do think that Capcom kind of got the message after all the outrage over UMVC3. If anything, I could see them doing an AE type of deal, where you buy the expansion online. $15 for 12 characters wouldn't be that bad at all!
