I enjoyed the four clock puzzles that you have to do in the maingame, and thought they were the best of the pocket dimension puzzles. Dunno about aftergame, didn't bother.
FF13-2's pretty cool. Plot picks up a bit at the end though isn't the reason to play the game.

I didn't mind the clock puzzles at first, until I got to the ones that were randomly regenerated every time you failed them and had time limits. augh
The main plot (stuff with Caius) wasn't that great imo, but all the plot events (stuff with Alyssa, Snow, Hope, etc.) were pretty awesome, and that made up most of it so I was pretty happy with what we got. Loved the game in general though. Paradox endings were awesome, and just adventuring through time was always fun. I kinda agree with the people who say it feels more like a Chrono game than an FF. Easily the best FF since IX, and my favorite RPG so far this generation.
