Only two more to go, and this was our first sequenced track. I was beginning to think we might go through the entire week without one.

Funny thing was I seriously thought about submitting an IoG song as well, only if I had it would have been the Memory Song, aka In the Earthen Womb. I approve of Great Wall, though. Certainly better than Sky Garden, which so many people overrate.

Oh wait, so my strangely particular appeal for Sky Garden wasn't entirely unjustified? You mean, more people also love that song? I think is the best dungeon theme in the game, and also the best dungeon/area in the game (inverted gravity so cool).

Still, I would've also uploaded In the Earthen Womb for general appeal (because it's also my favorite song in the game), but there also also way more attractive songs from IoG than the ones that have been uploaded in the channel.

I think I've seen Sky Garden comments at other points, though I suppose they could have all been you. With as relatively new as I was as a user, I hadn't yet associated names with particular personalities yet, and I still only have partially at this point.

*raises hand for Sky Garden* I am 99.9% positive I've nominated it at elast five times for various Best OST, Best VGM, Rate my VGM things in the past. Though, nowadays... I see the error of my ways as I'm just not that into it anymore.

Hope you all enjoyed the guest submissions as a whole. I enjoyed listening to the other seven choices. I hope some other people who applied for the opportunity get a chance in another 3-6 months, or whenever they decide to run Guest Week again.

I think guest week should be made a tradition from now on -a 4/6 period should be fine-. BTW az I liked your comment on the video and I totally agree. Descriptions like that one really makes you appreciate songs more.

Could just be the Game Boy soundchip you're hearing as part of the similarities. This song doesn't really try to use any percussive sounds, instead attempted to emulate something more orchestrated in sound, which is what Koichi Sugiyama often did with those Dragon Quest songs.
