Jay came off good this episode, all things considered.


I've really liked Jonas so far, so this would be awesome. I enjoy watching Colton (also the Zans) but Jonas is potentially the most deserving on the mens' tribe. Christina and Sabrina are still my favorites on the womens tribe. Alicia and Kat are fun to watch but awful at the game.

Colton is above Russell levels of douchery/villainy at this point so I can only imagine how epic his downfall will be. I mean all of those shots of him rolling his eyes, looking annoyed, staring at his fingernails and reacting to his own tribemates during challenges... Editor perma-boners for sure. Survivor would be doing Survivor wrong if this guy does not have a downfall more epic than all 3 Russell downfalls combined. I don't think it will be happening right away either, regardless of the shuffle... (though it is possible. It would be Silas-esque, but I think he's being built up for something bigger)

And in a stunning example of exemplifying both hypocracy and bigotry at the same time, he refused to even talk to Bill along the lines of "if I don't want to talk to you, you need to get away from me right now" or something. I'm paraphrasing there, but that was the gist. What about when you kept crawling your slimy ass back to the women's tribe when they clearly wanted nothing to do with ya Colton? Did that experience not change you at all? The problem is that he's completely spoiled and is used to getting whatever he wants, and the best part is HIS TRIBE GRATIFIES THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR! and honestly, i think it is more of a class thing than a race thing with colton. he just views other races as being lower classes because he is a country club kid from alabama. he also made fun of white trash as well.

I just watched this bull s*** of an episode. F*** the stupidest men ever. Not one single man deserves to win now. I can't believe they are letting Colton control their tribe, and this is just the single stupidest thing I've ever seen. Literally shaking my head at the entire tribal council.

Really, it's just disheartening to see a show I love confirm what I already knew- that people like this exist in their own little communities where they rarely ever have to interact with people that differ from themselves. I mean, I know this kind of stuff exists in Bumblef*** Alabama, but to see an allegedly educated person with an allegedly decent upbringing who happens to be in a minority of his own conduct himself with this kind of idiocy is... ridiculous. And to have it shoved down my throat week after week just blows. At least Bill doesn't have to put up with that crap anymore.

He is a minority...but he doesn't give a **** about the plight of the gay community. Colton is accepted in his own community, and all he cares about is himself. So it isn't like he understands what it is like to be an outsider. And "education" is not really the same as life experience, which Colton is severely lacking in. It is the same reason that christian conservatives advocate home schooling- they want their kids to grow up in a bubble and avoid actually associating with anyone different. And it is really sad.

I guess that's what it is, Cyclo. It's just truly, truly disappointing. I mean, it's not like you can "teach" empathy, but it's just straight baffling that someone like that can't draw his own comparisons between himself and the person-or people, as this obviously wasn't the first time he's discriminated against someone based on their economic/ethnic background- he subjects to his own bigotry, etc. Baffling and gross.
