In Symphonia I played through a few times using Zelos and Sheena instead of Lloyd. Abyss I always used Luke over Guy, mainly because I played that one multiplayer a lot so the other person would be Guy. I got really used to Luke's style. Vesperia I tried Judith and was awful at it so I went back to Yuri, who was still really fun and I was a lot better with him.

In Legendia I used Chloe for most of the game until I switched back to Senel towards the end and thought "oh god why did I ever use Chloe instead." Can't beat the MMM HAA EATTHIS

Pretty much why I went with Gamestop. There was no $10 credit on Amazon and they weren't knocking off 2 bucks like they do for most new releases so I said screw it.

I might've finished Symphonia 2 if it hadn't been for the Wii. I pushed through Legendia (though I liked Legendia, it's dungeons were tedious)

Thankfully Graces is on PS3.

The delivery estimates for free shipping are usually over-estimated anyways, it's probably to prevent people from constantly sending complaints should it actually take that long.

I won't have my first taste of release-date shipping until Kid Icarus: Uprising since I'd rather have the DLC costumes from GameStop.

Angelo could probably explain it better than anyone here, but the general idea is that it's definitely a game to get if you're a fan of the series.

Not sure how general you want but

Graces f is the first game with the CC system to be released in America. Instead of a typical TP/MP system, CC pretty much allows you to use abilities as much as you want, and you can string any arte together, as long as you have enough CC to use it. CC recharges when you stand still.

The artes system is a bit different, there A-style artes and B-style artes. A-style artes are pre-determined, however you can set the B-style artes, and the player is able to freely switch between the styles in battle.

There's still free run but it uses CC so you cant abuse it too much. Instead of running "right" to an enemy like Symphonia/Abyss/Vesperia you walk "foward" to approach an enemy. Once you're in close range of an enemy you can use a nifty sidestep system to attack them from different angles.

Don't know much about the story, purposely not reading much on it. There are 7 playable characters total.

oh wait I heard while the story has some different themes compared to Symphonia/Abyss/Vesperia the way the plot works overall is the same.

the first Inomata art-style game to come in a while (last one was Eternia) some people seem to be wary of this art style but I like it as much as Symphonia/Abyss/Vesperia

but yeah as WhiteLens said if you liked Symphonia/Abyss/Vesperia you should definitley give this a shot

Eh, I wouldn't call Tales games THAT rare, I mean you can still find new copies of Vesperia and Namco apparently did a reprint of the PS2 version of Tales of the Abyss.

And I haven't got a call from GameStop yet....I'll probably call them tomorrow if I don't get one tonight.

Man, so excited that it's finally coming out tomorrow. It's come a long way since its initial announcement on the Wii....which was in 2008. Damn, it HAS been awhile.
