Likewise, if you can't find a quote that definitely should be a topic title, then just go with the name of the next episode. This season has had some decent episode titles, and the next one isn't so bad either: "The Beauty in a Merge". Pretty neutral overall.

I love Bobby. He's probably my 4th favorite from that season, after Shane, Cirie and Misty. But in terms of screen time, game impact and general fan reaction, no way did he deserve to be on it over Courtney or Bruce.

Aras is one of my favorite winners. Him, Yul Kwon, Brian Heidik, and Boston Rob in the first RI are the only four players I actually called from Episode 1 to win the game and won bets with my wife on . My wife has only been right twice from Episode 1 (Africa's Ethan Zahn and Guatemala winner Danni Boatwright). She almost chose Parvati in FvF, but switched to Cirie instead.

This season she says that she thinks Chelsea will be the winner and I think Jonas will be the winner (both were after Episode 1).


We do this betting thing after reading their profiles, seeing the TV.com interviews, and watching the first episode, then we see how far our top 2 picks go. After 1 episode, we can usually weed out who is probably fodder and who can go some distance.



(In case anyone is wondering, we usually bet chores, and the winner gets to pick a chore they do for the week and make the other do it instead ^_~).

Bobby had little screen time but really made the best of it. Pretty damn good early boot, but WAY too early to be on the damn DVD. I guess CBS knows only hardcore fans buy these things, because most fans love him.

I remember at Sucks I once saw a mock cover for the Nicaragua reunion done in the typical format. It had Chase, Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Probst, Boston Rob, Terry Bradshaw, and NaOnka's mom.

I mean Astronaut Dan could've done more to advance himself. I'm not biased just because he lives 1 town away from me. His boot was fair and played well...

By the way, from what I've heard, it's possible that we'll see Cook Islands and Fiji on DVD in the fall. Assuming this pattern continues, this would be the current schedule:

Spring 2013: China/FvF
Fall 2013: Gabon/Tocantins

With the merge, I predict Christina will survive the night. She will devote her gameplay to keeping the men happy. She is near useless except as a vote, so she can stick around until she is no longer needed. There isn't going to be any tender gameplay going forward, alliances are already starting to be known, so whatever bodies you can get to your cause will give your team the edge.

Since the men have the numbers, the 5 woman alliance is probably going to take the first casualty, so I think either Alicia or maaaaaybe Sabrina. Tarzan is gonna get the axe if he starts ruffling too many feathers though, but probably not tonight.

I count Christina as being on the men's side since she has NO friends on the women. Plus, the "newer" Salani tribe has the internal alliance of Chelsea, Kim, Jay, and what's his face, which will make the women's chances even more slim.

I think Leif still has more screen time than Michael, since Leif was a big part of the whole Bill fiasco. Also, glad CBS isn't taking the "HEY HE'S A LITTLE PERSON WE'RE GOING TO GIVE HIM A SUPER POSITIVE EDIT SO EVERYONE LOVES HIM / GIVES HIM $100,000" route.

In fact, Jeff said zero consideration of Leif's size was taken in picking / designing challenges this season, which I think is great.
