It's a shame Crash Bash had such a lower rating than CTR. Crash Bandicoot games really went down after the original trilogy, and Crash Bash was the only really decent one, even when it could have been a lot more polished.

This sort of vote shouldn't count. Even if you hate the story/gameplay, the good controls and great graphics/music warrant at least a few points. This is just blatant trolling.
Anyway, 9.5/10. Not quite as good as the first, but actually rather underrated.

I have never played a game in my life that I would give a "0" to. However, people have their own opinions and I am willing to accept that. I have contemplated to add a rule where you had to elaborate your rating if it fell below a "1," but I know that it would be a double standard if I didn't do the same for ratings of "9+."
I have removed votes in the past because I learned that people had not played the game they rated before, but that happened rarely because it can be almost impossible to find out.

Are you just talking about removing the top and bottom score or what? Outliers are ultimately a subjective measure in this context unless what you meant to say is the top and bottom score(s)

From my own point of view, giving a 0/10 is like nothing. Like if you have never even played the game, so it wouldn't be valid in any circumstances (this would mean that every game in existence you haven't played would have a 0/10 by default because you haven't played it yet).
However, I think giving lower scores than a 1 is acceptable, like 0.1, because it's the absolute minimum a game/song/movie or whatever could take in that case. The problem here is the trolling. I say you remove every absolute 0 and maybe even add a rule to post why are you giving the score you're giving to a particular game. I don't know, it's just a suggestion.

This is such a simple setup, but people still find ways to abuse it for whatever reason. I don't want to bog it down with lots of rules and contingencies because it's not like I am planning on taking this into an entirely new direction at any point, but I am thinking that a tweak or two may be necessary.
