My school is a wet campus, but this is the letter I received in my email just now
"Though a much loved tradition, Warrior Day has evolved into an alcohol-centered event that enables and normalizes binge drinking among students. Police reports document that in each of the past several years, there have been dozens of students and visitors arrested for public intoxication, underage drinking, providing alcohol to minors, disorderly conduct and other violations of the law. In addition, hundreds of other students and visitors arrive at the event so intoxicated that they are barred from entering and ordered to vacate the campus."
Well, guess I'll just go get drunk and NOT show up to school that day.

we have a huge once a year weekend-long party like that here to called quadfest. it used to be campus sponsored until a few years ago when they said basically what your school said. however that just made the students more pissed and continued having it except now more extreme to the point where one year the national guard came
so trust me when i say it will probably work out for you!

no more mr. nice sess....hello mr. nice watch! somebody call the brinks truck!
The funny is though, as far as I can remember...which is going back to when I was in high school and my sister was going to college there, Warrior Day was about going and getting drunk and basically one big campus party.

We had a thing like that called "Spring Weekend" at my college. One year we actually got Less Than Jake as our headlining musical act, which is surprisingly big since we were literally a ~5,000 person state school. And yeah, it was pretty much just an excuse to be wasted for three days.

I hate to contribute to the stereotypes surrounding my school, but I feel like I can relate because at Dartmouth we have a day of badassery/debauchery like this four times a year *
