4. Robots versus Aliens in Grey

I don't usually like robots. They're too inorganic and blocky to me. But well, this pic is just pretty great. It's got clutter without being overbearing, and I think the (lack of) color tone is to thank for that. The amount of detail, with silhouettes of faraway spider-alien and what might be a flock the Australian swallow in the distance, is lovely.
Well, I still think I put this too high but whatever. I do that a lot.

Nio's tastes are deplorable for the most part, but she does get some things right every while and then. I mean, you know the proverb 'a sitting duck gets the most worms'. Yeah, Nio is the duck and good taste are the worms. Just kidding, that doesn't make sense.

Anyway, Leo is definitely a good choice here. S/he's a very cute fella, with damn funky clothes and pretty eyes. The pose is good too, nothing too overbearing or flashy but not boring in any way. It's high-res and decently sized too. Gotta love it.

I love the composition of that image. The aliens in the background (they're called Tyranids) look amazingly huge... as it should be.
