1. Furries, sadly enough, are all fictional characters. People who do it in fursuits are human.
2. Furry characters are sentient, real animals are usually not considered to be so. They are capable of human-like thought and can speak.

I wound up manual by a series of crazy happen circumstances, but honestly I'm not sure if I'd go back.

It's just so cool. And when I do drive autos on occasion, I literally have no idea what to do with my second hand and left foot anymore and it's extremely uncomfortable.

I like driving a stick shift.

I own an automatic because it was cheaper. (Also, it lets me handle google maps/GPS/whatever in one hand while I drive, so that's a legitimate advantage over a stick shift that didn't exist 15 years ago when I first started driving and felt that stick shift was master race).

I don't know if I've driven an auto on a highway in like two years so I really don't know.

Well, most cars in the UK are manual, so I've only driven manual cars and I've only ever been in manual cars.

I think what would annoy me about driving a car with an automatic gearbox is that I wouldn't have an excuse to drive with one hand anymore. Although it would give me my left hand free to flip people off whenever I wanted. Nothing worse than needing to give someone the finger in the middle of a gear change.

^To add, you have the choice of getting either a manual or automatic license here in the UK. Getting the former allows you to drive both, which is not the case with the automatic license. Automatic cars are more expensive because the demand is a lot less. Most of all, your friends will laugh at you if you drive automatic. It's seen as extremely beta.

As the owner of a muscle car, I can say that, while they are available in automatic transmissions, if you don't get it in manual, you're missing the point. My Challenger has a six-speed manual.

I should probably just buy a s***ty manual and teach myself to drive it. I've gotten the explanation of how they work from at least 3 different people and successfully started and shifted and now it's just a matter of getting better, and the way to do that is to drive it.

Heehee, stick is fun :D It's like you're playing a video game while you're driving. Auto makes you feel kind of like a passenger. You just tell it what to do and it says "okay then" and it feels like cheating.
