You've got a better chance of getting the uncommons in veterans than you do spectres.

Just buy the veterans until you've maxed out everything you can get out of them.

This was happening to me for several days. The only way I could get in was by going back to the home page, unplugging the ethernet cord, going back into the game, and plugging it back in after the menu was already accessible. Annoying.

Ugh I got to wave 7 on gold and then a Geth Pyro ambushed our team >_> At least I got a Widow.

I noticed a lot of sniper users on Gold as well.

I wrote off the soldier class for a while, but Turian soldier with Talon is pretty good, I do well with him even in Gold.

That DLC sounds interesting. I would love to eventually see a melee-focused Drell class that was modeled of (cutscene) Thane.

Finally got every class to 20. I don't plan to ever promote unless we're given Commendation Packs for it one weekend.

Also got the Asari Justicar, my first blue beauty. I'm happy but wtf @ her hideous face. I appreciate Our The Samara more now.

I usually promote guys who are 20 that I don't use anymore. It gives me incentive to try them out again at the lower levels.

And oh yeah, playing the Vanguard correctly (I didn't use Nova/didn't even know charge filled my shields my first time through) has made Insanity a breeze so far. On the first mission to palaven, there's this big fight that has three Brutes in it. I must have spent at least an hour trying to do it on Hard, it was probably the toughest fight I fought the whole game. This time it only took me two tries. Now obviously I knew what was coming and all this time and am more leveled up, but it's still astounding. I guess there's a cobra missile around that area, but I never found it and didn't really need it this time.

Yeah, the regular Asari Adept is amazing. Stasis Bubble is incredibly useful.

We had a match with three Asari Justicars a few weeks ago...good times.

I'm confused at what build to work on for my Justicar.

I want to like the class but I haven't found it as useful as something like Engineer for Gold runs.

I went 6/6/0/6/6, didn't put anything in Pull. I spec'd her passive ability for Biotic Powers and Assault Rifle weight reduction. I spec'd the sphere for offensive Warp detonation.

Haven't tried her out on Gold yet, but I did do a Silver game against Reapers where I was the top scorer by 20k. Biotic detonations are a thing of beauty, especially once the Turian Sentinel realized what I was doing and joined in. Brutes that walked into my sphere melted, and Banshee barriers disintegrated in 2-3 seconds. It was annoying when enemies would avoid the sphere, but Asari are so agile that I was often able to approach a mob, drop a bubble in front of them, and backdash to safety.

Doubt such a daredevil strategy would work in Gold, so I'll play more cautiously then.

I went full support with my sphere, it works great on gold. I may not be the top scorer, but I keep people well and alive and with another support thing like geth healing turret it makes everyone pretty beefy. Of course there are problems with support sphere, it works best when the team is together and an offensive sphere would probably work better if you're going solo more often.

I was doing a Gold/Firebase White/Geth run with some people, and they were atrocious. We only got to round 4.

I finished first in points.

They voted to boot me.
