This is confusing, if you got charged 37 for an 8 dollar purchase, you should contact paypal, only the seller has to give paypal a little cut.

I use ebay and whatnot, paypal seems to just take from the paypal balance and leave the bank account alone unless there's not enough in the paypal.

I told paypal my bank account so I could get money from paypal into my bank account, that's how they get ya.

Yep.

And it was $37 because of the $29 overdraft that resulted from them charging my savings account.

I usually use Paupal for convenience...but not anymore.

Why not complain to PayPal and your bank? I'm sure PayPal can reverse the charge to your savings account, charge your checking, and then you could explain the situation to your bank so they can reverse the overdraft charge.

You would have had to link PayPal to your savings account at some point for them to take money from it.

My PayPal is only linked to my credit card.

Ok everyone this is Bartz so just remember.

If there is any place I would trust to not randomly charge things to my accounts, it's Paypal.

They're so careful and deliberate about everything, which is why they're so trusted pretty much everywhere.
