normally whan we play for fun, we play frantic items on stages like baby park or trappable stages for giant bananas/bowser shells like the jump in waluigi stadium or the bridge in dk mountain

I actually kinda agree with Robazoid there. I mean... by playing in that environment you kinda remove everything that would happen during typical Mario Kart play unless that's not your typical Mario Kart play (in which case, why)

I mean sure you remove a lot of the randomness but there's some strategy to like, properly rationing item usage and stuff too.

Also I will proudly claim I am not particularly good at SSBM. Never liked the style of the game enough to practice much. I can play a passable Kirby because he's in all 3 games, and a passable Marth because he's USE THE TIP LOL but yeah.

Funny thing that you should mention Mario Party...

One of my friends is significantly more skilled at MP8 than anyone else I know (as in, there's a selection of around 50% of the minigames that he will godstomp in every single time). I'm basically the only one who's even willing to play with him any more after a series of storm-outs by my less mature friends.

is that on xbox or pc? I know on xbox I just have my buddy bring over his xbox as well, then we connect them together and we got 4 players! I haven't tried LAN for more than two people on PC though

I've only played against one person in Brawl that complained about how I played and I think it was mostly because they were pissed that they lost. One of those types that thinks they are an elite tourney crab but actually are just average.

They were whining because I dodged a lot and called me a "defensive player" and said I was no fun to play against, etc. People who complain about dodging aren't good enough to hit a moving target and they want others to cater to their lack of skill.

The entire street past Go to Jail isn't even worth owning. I win all the game by using those properties as trade bait and using properties that people actually land on instead.

Boardwalk has the quickest turn around on paying off your investment as well as a card that sends you there. Its high risk high reward. Green is the worst property in the game though. Red > orange > light blue/yellow/dark blue
