Which is why I think the game is going to fail. I mean I want it to do amazing, because it is different and awesome, but for that reason people are going to stop playing. It really makes me sad.

I mean look at the people that are peeing themselves for Diablo 3. It's Diablo 2 with a skin pack. People cry that Modern Warfare is just a new map pack every year, and yet it sells more and more. People want the same stuff, because people are stupid.

I will always play GW2, just like I always played GW1, a better game is just better.

Eh, I thought GW1 was a reasonably challenging game for a MMO (low level cap, so if you're having trouble with missions at level 20 there's nothing you can do except play better). GW1 was certainly successful, even if it got pretty dead toward the end of its life.

I don't think GW2 is going to revolutionize MMOs, but I don't think it'll "fail." It'll certainly be successful from an economic standpoint, but people will probably be disappointed after the hype.
