its strange, when someone says "I've seen Star Wars 30 times" or something, I don't really believe they've kept count, and also find it weird that they would if they did
but at the same time, it always makes me kinda wish that I've actually kept track of it myself as I would love to know how many times I HAVE seen certain movies
I wish there was a stat book that you could look at of your life. Like "Wow, I've taken 7,532 showers in my lifetime" or "Whoa, I just got my 3,000 hug!"
Would be very interesting

I stop keeping track of what movies I watch after the first time. Lately because I usually don't get a chance to watch something more than once since there's so much out there that I still want to get to.
But I have probably seen Lion King/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers at least 10 times each. Enough to say the dialogue along with the movie anyway.
Well, if I've seen a movie between say one and three times I usually remember exactly, especially if the theater is involved. After that I lose track of that. And after years possibly losing track between two and three. Hmmm
I've seen The Cabin in the Woods twice.
I've seen You Got Served once, pretty entertaining, somebody did in fact get served. Nuthin' on Breakin' and Breakin 2' Electric Boogaloo though, which I've seen both three times.

MycroProcessor posted... Well, I know I saw Pokemon 2000 every day during the summer of one year, which is approximately 90 days, adding up all of the other times I've seen it it has to at least be 100.
VHS? Now, let me ask, you probably just had it on multi-tasking while you were doing something else at the same time didn't ya? You know you did.
My friend did that with Transformers: The Movie one summer, now whenever we watch it he can say all the lines before they happen ha.

It's pretty easy for me since it's kind of rare for me to see a movie more than once. I can at least pretty closely estimate how many times I've seen something beyond that. Like... I know for sure I've seen Black Dynamite 3.333333 times, but I'm only sure I've seen Inside Man somewhere between 2 and 4 times.

Only in theaters. I know the movie I've seen the most times in theaters was Fellowship of the Ring at 6. Prior to that I believe it was Batman Forever at 3.

Not really, except in obvious, already-mentioned cases. I always throw in a "roughly" or "like" or "somewhere around" when I make those sorts of statements though.
Excluding the films I used to watch as a child, where I could watch the same film every day and still be entertained(Daddy Day Care when i was 10 or 11 >_>), District 13 is probably the film I've seen the most. Because when I'm with friends and they want to watch a movie, they always want a good action film where you can turn your brain off. District 13 is one of the best of them, and barely anyone has seen it ^_^. I've watched Serenity a large number of times as well.

if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it do the other trees laugh?
A friend of mine keeps an excel spreadsheet up to date with the movies he watches, where he watches them, and with whom he watches them. He uses that to compose statistics and graphs on which movies he's seen the most, what genres he's watched the most, which friends he watches movies with the most, where he's watched the most movies, etc.
Oh, and he also keeps track of whether or not he's seen a movie before so he can determine what percentage of movies he watches are previously unseen movies.
I think he's a special case, though...

I try to remember, but it's hard - though times I've watched fully is somewhat easier to remember than "caught on TV already started". Keeping track of the ones I've seen and remember is already enough...
