Johnny was terrible in MGS4. I've always said he should have remained a gimmick character. Meryl was also pretty bad in MGS4.

Johnny wasn't the problem in MGS4 in that relationship.

What didn't you like about that? She still cared about Snake, it was still poignant, Snake knew he wasn't good for her, she got with a very manly lovely young man of the Sasaki clan, it's America at it's finest.
