Have armor that looks consistent across each character, that can lead to patchwork-looking characters, or having a set design for each character and the same piece of equipment looks different on each, leading to more specialized designs for the games' designers to make? An example of the latter is Diablo 3.



I kind of prefer patchwork armor, honestly, but this isn't something that bothers me a lot. I'm just wondering what others like. I might like this more if the armor designs they made weren't so awful a lot of the time, though.

I like the former better to be quite honest, I've always been a fan of clothes or armor not '' matching '' the character or whatever.

I like the former. It may not always look as cool, but it makes more logical sense and I just prefer it that way.
