Sadly I have to agree here. I'd say Eliza and Shii-Ann are the only ones that I'd even consider putting in my top 10 contestants.

Not to mention, unlike other seasons, there really isn't anyone to root for besides the obvious winner. If the obvious winner doesn't win, it will still suck. But it sucks because the obvious winner will win. It's lose-lose.

At least in RI, people had Andrea and Phillip to root for, if they didn't want Rob to win it. But this it's root for Kim. THERE ARE NO MORE OPTIONS. WHAT THE HELL KIM.

yeah Troy and Kat going back to back broke my spirit for this season. I accidentally slept through the majority of this episode and felt as though I missed nothing.

Also of note is that I still believe Kim will lose because shes been instrumental in every blindside- and they were all blindsides.

In fact, I can't believe I'm saying this now after I hated the season for so many years, but Vanuatu may have my favorite Final Four of all time, given that when you remove the 5th place finishers from Exile and Amazon, you're taking away Exile's best and Amazon's second-best, and when you remove the fifth place finisher from Vanuatu you're taking away its second-worst (out of the final 5's, anyway).

Welcome to a month and a half ago. :-P

But seriously, there was a good 10-15 posts of discussion about three topics back about Bobby being on the Exile Island cover. I hope it comes out soon because it's one of my favorites. Interesting that Guatemala, though it still says "Up for pre-order" has already begun shipping it seems if you pre-ordered it early. Mine has shipped, and at least one person on Sucks has reported already receiving theirs.

Wow, did this episode have a different director? Did someone travel forward in time from five years ago to edit this one? Everyone had a voice, everyone had a personality, there were plots and subplots going on, it all didn't feel strictly like strategy-talk even though a lot of it was, challenge & reward time seemed truncated, the camerawork seemed more natural... it was like watching an episode from years ago. It was really, really good. And I am wishing we had more from Alicia in the past several weeks because, due to the heavy Kim editing, it was hard to take Alicia very seriously about being powerful, but you could tell she was just from the way the episode was presented and how the groups were split. And everyone's thinking with everyone. It gave good explanations of how Kim gets things done, but she's not the only one playing the game. Everyone is wheeling and dealing and it's something we haven't seen in forever. It could be in part to Boston Rob's godfathering, Russell being Russell, Nicaragua losing all good players midway, Tocantins teasing us with alliances and dragons and losing them at the merge... Or maybe it's because the people on the jury suck. Troy & Kat's bitter faces, and Michael's attitude, were the worst parts oft he episode. Maybe things are better without them.

Man this episode was a reminder of how much I can love this game.
