I mean, why is it called Tron? Tron wasn't the main character of the original Tron (Flynn was) and in Tron Legacy, Tron was barely in it. Flynn's son was the main character

Why is it Pirates of the Caribbean and not Captain Jack Sparrow?

Movie titles =/= Main character

Those are two horrible examples.

Titanic is called Titanic because it is about the experience one woman had surviving the sinking of the ship, and the romance she had while a passenger on board.

Pirates of the Caribbean is called Pirates of the Caribbean because its named after a Disneyland ride, and also because Jack Sparrow and his friends ARE Pirates in the Caribbean. Therefore its about Pirates of the Carribean.

Neither movie is about Tron and he's just a supporting character in both

He's the program that Flynn interacts with both in the real world and in the mainframe - very significant to the entire presentation of the movie/games.

Other people have posted this, but I also feel the need to point out how incorrect this actually is.

The Transformers movies should be renamed Shia LeBeouf, Shia LeBeouf: Revenge of the Beouf, and Shia Lebeouf: Dark of the Beouf.
