IIRC the game shipped with various bugs and whatever. seems standard for for PC games these days anyway. did they eventually patch those all away?

I never had a problem with my game. It would occasionally crash when loading a level or something, but it always autosaved so it wasn't a big deal.

Did they ever fix that one really BS update that they didn't test and it wrecked everything?

I read stories about peoples game saves being wiped and freaked out, then just sort of never returned.

I stopped playing on the 360 back in January when a glitch prevented me from continuing a quest. I haven't checked to see if it has been fixed.

The lag issues were a PS3 only issue I think.

I actually didn't find a lot of glitches (PC version) until I did the main quest line, which has several glitches which can completely halt your progress unless you can get around it with the console command.

what system? If you want to play a Bethesda game, here's a good rule: play PC day 1, play 360 a month after release, and never play the PS3 version.
