god bless you Netflix for finally putting up the first one
but yea, never seen the first one before, seen the second one dozens of times. it was kind of a curse actually
anyways
I think it was pretty darn good. I think if I watched it at the time, it would've been the greatest thing ever. but I've been spoiled by modern movies. like, I kinda thought the end battle with the God was very anticlimatic
another thing I noticed was the Marshmallow man was only in the movie for like 5 minutes! JUST FIVE MINUTES! and hes a pop culture icon! that amazed me
I had no idea Ernie Hudson's character was so uninvolved and tacted on in the end. I thought he was there from the beginning! he was really only there to make a bible reference and to say Thats a big twinkie
but stilll, Ernie Hudson is awesome
then I saw the second movie again and I think that was good too. I hear alot of people say "oh its the same movie again" but no, thats not true, it stands up on its own IMO.
but yea, I had a good time watching these, it was thrilling to finally see it
now hopefully Netflix will add Back to the Future in the..well..future
Stay Puff Marshmallow Man probably owes most of his fame to his design rather than his movie appearance. Or the cartoon where he seemed to be a bipolar good guy/bad guy with little explanation.

I can't find a clip of it, but my favorite moment of either movie is this one...
Dana: It's late, I really ought to put him down. Peter: May I? Dana: Yeah, if you want to. Peter: You're short, your bellybutton sticks out too far, and you're a terrible burden on your poor mother.
