Usually when I think about movies the day after, I end up realizing their flaws and liking them a bit less. But this movie, the more you think about it the more you realize how COMPLETELY excellent it was.
Black Widow: That first fight with the chair? Impressive and ****ing hot.
Hawk-Eye: So many parts. Probable most memorable was the arrow he fired at Loki, but he was on point most of the movie. He felt very lethal.
Thor: Probably when he took on Hulk to save Black Widow.
Captain America: When he tanked Thor's hammer (not even a dent!) or when he reflected Iron Man's shot for the kills.
Iron Man: So many good lines I can't even decide. "his first name is 'Agent'" comes to mind, but there were a ton. His persona just comes off so perfectly.
Hulk: either the 'puny god' moment or "Wanna know my secret? I'm always angry".
Yeah, I can't believe that they had so many characters in this movie and yet ALL of them had their moment to shine and they were all done completely perfectly.
MORE SMALL SPOILERS
The early fight in Germany pretty much completely captures what I'm talking about. Loki gloating and being an overly slick badass. Cap jumping in to save a civilian and then going toe to toe with a god because it's the right thing to do. Tony being his egotistical self and hacking all the speakers on the block to play AC/DC for his big entrance. All too perfect, and they kept up that level of perfection with every character for the entire movie.
Augh and before the chair fight. When Black Widow said "I'm in the middle of an interrogation here, this guy's telling me everything" I was gonna lose it. It was too awesome.
I still can't get over how good Hawk-Eye and Black Widow were. I was not expecting them to hold up with the big guys and they completely did.
TBH I think if I did a tiering Thor might go at the bottom which doesn't say anything bad about him at all.
