I was so shocked about Coulsen though. Didn't see that coming at all. It was done incredibly well. But I'm sad we won't ever see him again ;_;

Joss Whedon likes to kill people you like. I figured he couldn't kill off any of the heroes, and Maria Hill hadn't earned any real emotional attachment, so I knew Coulson was going to die. Still really bummed me out.

I also thought we might see Sharon Carter in this movie, but I didn't see her anywhere. Not even a cameo. I guess she'll first appear in Captain America 2.

So we're sure that it was a Skrull in the end-credits scene that was with Thanos, right?

I assumed so but I don't really know.

And I heard so many people in the theater incorrectly telling their friends who it was that turns around at the end.

I heard more than one person say it was Galactus, and I also heard one Apocalypse and even a f***ing Magneto.

And the guy at the end talking to Thanos is listed as "The Other" in the credits, and he was played by Alexis Denisof from Buffy and Angel. It kind of surprised me when I saw his name.

No idea if he's a Skrull or not, though.

As for Coulson, I've seen some people saying that both Whedon and Gregg have stated that Coulson didn't die. It would be in character for Fury to make them think he did to bring them together, but I dunno, he looked pretty dead to me.
